About Our Client

Job Description

  1. Be the sole Category expert, leading the agenda for a personal care business.
  2. Drive insights and set business objectives through first-class Category delivery.
  3. Develop and execute effective strategies to facilitate profitable sales across all three personal care categories.
  4. Implement a comprehensive category growth agenda in strategic channels and customers by incorporating consumer and shopper insights to deliver best-in-class retail solutions.
  5. Translate data into actionable insights for the sales team to support customer presentations, listing opportunities, and successful NPD introductions.
  6. Provide internal reporting of EPOS weekly and on an ad-hoc basis, monitor sales trends, and manage daily sales reports in tandem with retailer inventory.
  7. Maintain a strong relationship with Circana to maximize data investment and diversify into new categories with potential new data sets.
  8. Exude leadership, agility, and create data-driven recommendations, demonstrating a passion for transformational growth and entrepreneurial drive.
  9. Be a key member of the UK commercial operation and the wider team, embodying CARE & CARE+ principles daily.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in category management within the FMCG/consumer industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, including Circana data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A results-driven mindset focused on achieving commercial objectives.
  • Knowledge of market trends and consumer behaviors in the FMCG sector.
  • Ability to access Surrey three days per week.
