Vox Consultants are currently looking for an Operations Manager.

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contract across Avon & Somerset Courts, including Bristol Magistrates Court, North Somerset Courthouse, and Queensway House.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong PFI contract management experience who can confidently handle the challenges of compliance, lifecycle planning, and stakeholder engagement within a public sector setting. You’ll lead a team of up to 20 people, driving operational excellence and ensuring the highest standards of service across three key justice sites.

• Lead the delivery of a multi-site PFI contract, ensuring compliance with all contractual and lifecycle requirements
• Oversee budgets, service delivery, and performance to deliver long-term value and sustainability
• Support, coach, and develop Site Managers, ensuring statutory compliance and client satisfaction
• Manage supplier relationships, meeting all KPIs and SLAs
• Maintain health and safety standards across all locations
• Plan and deliver annual maintenance and long-term lifecycle schedules
• Lead client meetings and monthly performance reviews
• Promote a culture of governance, compliance, and customer excellence
• Analyse performance data and share insights with site teams
• Conduct staff performance reviews and support team wellbeing
• Drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience managing PFI contracts, ideally within the public sector or justice environment
• Strong leadership background managing multi-site operations and diverse stakeholder groups
• Proven financial and budget management experience
• Relevant technical or FM qualifications (e.g., IWFM, NEBOSH) preferred
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
