Hours: 40 hours per week (including rota and on-call)

We’re recruiting an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to help launch a brand-new children’s residential home in Newport. This is a unique leadership role where you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to set up and run the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and team performance.

You’ll be supporting young people with complex needs, including Autism and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), within a trauma-informed, child-centred environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting the Registered Manager in line with RISCA and safeguarding standards
  • Managing staff supervision, mentoring, and development
  • Overseeing care planning, behaviour support, and risk management
  • Promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Driving continuous improvement and service development
