Are you an experienced Project Manager with hands-on electrical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality solar installations? We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing renewable energy specialist seeking a driven, technically strong professional to join their team.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of domestic and commercial solar PV installation projects. You’ll ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, managing teams, coordinating resources, liaising with customers, and maintaining compliance throughout each project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage solar PV installation projects from planning through to completion
• Coordinate electrical and installation teams, ensuring targets and deadlines are met
• Conduct site visits, surveys, and technical assessments
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations, health & safety standards, and installation guidelines
• Act as main point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and excellent service
• Oversee procurement, scheduling, and quality control processes
• Troubleshoot technical issues on-site when required

About You

The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder with both project management capability and strong technical knowledge.

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Proven experience working with solar PV systems
• Strong project management or site management background
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Full UK driving licence
