A healthcare organization in the UK is recruiting for an Urgent & Emergency Care Clerical Assistant to provide clerical support in the Emergency Department. The role includes processing enquiries, maintaining patient confidentiality, and supporting clinical staff, requiring flexibility for a variety of shifts. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a focus on patient care.
We are recruiting for an Urgent & Emergency Care Clerical Assistant who shares our vision to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to patients across the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
This role supports the Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre, working independently as part of a multi‑disciplinary team and ensuring a polite, friendly and patient‑focused service.
This is a fixed rota role covering 365 days a year, including weekends, evenings, Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year. You will need to be able to work day, evening, weekend and bank holiday shifts.
