Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in a client-facing role within a financial services environment.
- Experience with both personal and company tax returns is essential.
- Strong knowledge of inheritance and capital gains tax is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients ensuring compliance responsibilities are met.
- Prepare annual accounts and submit to Companies House.
- Prepare personal and company tax returns and submit to HMRC.
- Handle client queries via telephone or mail.
Skills
We are recruiting for a growing accounting firm that service a large number of small business clients across a number of sectors. They are looking for a responsive, detail-orientated accountant to join their team to manage a large portfolio of clients.
- Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure all compliance responsibilities are carried out in a timely and accurate manner
- Preparation of annual accounts and submitting to Companies House
- Preparation of both company and personal tax returns, and submitting to HMRC
- Responding to queries by telephone or mail that may arise from clients
- 5+ years' experience in a client-facing role within a financial services environment
