Our Engineering client in Dungannon is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage transport coordination, freight costings, and compliance within a busy multi-brand logistics department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as main contact for all logistics coordination.
- Arrange transport across multiple sites.
- Obtain and maintain freight rates and costings.
- Prepare export documentation in line with legislation and carrier requirements.
- Oversee internal and external audits and ensure compliance.
- Handle customer queries efficiently.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and clear order updates.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ admin experience.
- 5 GCSEs (incl. Maths & English, Grade C+).
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Able to meet strict deadlines and work well in a team.
Desirable:
- Experience in high-volume, global shipping.
- Knowledge of customs formalities and Oracle ERP.
- Familiarity with heavy haulage and Ro-Ro transport.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to new tasks.
