A leading education service provider seeks a Functional Skills Tutor in Ashford, UK. You will support students unable to access full-time education by delivering one-to-one tuition in Maths, English, and Science. Successful candidates will have experience working with students with varying needs and will offer a nurturing approach. The role includes developing personalized lesson plans, monitoring student progress, and providing constructive feedback. Competitive hourly rates and flexible working hours are offered.
At Prospero’s CES Team, we specialise in designing bespoke education packages for children and young people across Kent.
We have a high demand for Functional Skills 1-1 Tutors who have experience in delivering Maths, English & Science KS2-4 in the Ashford area, (Experience in all key stages / subjects is NOT essential). High majority of students tend to be are KS3+, but at times working at a much lower ability.
Were on the lookout for Education experts to support students on a 1-1 basis who are not able to access full time education for various reasons.
Many of the students we support have mild to complex SEND and SEMH needs. Many are dis-engaged, having not attended school for some time and may have emotional barriers to learning. As a result, we are seeking nurturing Tutors with a patient, flexible & non judge mental approach with a passion for working closely with students to overcome barriers & re integrate them back into education or a suitable school placement.
