Job Opportunity: Self-Employed Football Coach

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Rate of Pay: £15.00 per hour

Hours: Approx. 10 per week (with potential for growth)

About Us

We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to using sport as a powerful tool to build confidence, improve wellbeing, and create inclusive opportunities for everyone in our community. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and committed Self-Employed Football Coach to join our team and deliver high-quality, engaging football sessions.

About the Role

As part of our coaching team, you will deliver a variety of football sessions across the community, including:

  • Sessions with young vulnerable adults
  • Women’s and girls’ football sessions
  • Football sessions for deaf adults (basic sign language skills desirable)
  • After-school football clubs

The role is approximately 10 hours per week, with the potential for further opportunities as our projects expand.

Requirements
  • FA Level 2 / UEFA C Coaching Certificate (essential)
  • Valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working with diverse groups, including vulnerable adults and young people
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding practices
  • Some knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL) or willingness to develop this skill
  • First Aid and Safeguarding certificates (desirable)
