An award-winning, Chambers-ranked law firm with a strong national and international client base is now looking to recruit a Corporate Solicitor (3 Years’ PQE) to join its expanding Corporate team in Oxford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level Solicitor to work alongside experienced partners and specialists on a wide range of high-quality corporate transactions with both UK and international elements.
About the Team:
The Corporate team acts for a diverse mix of clients, including:
- Entrepreneurial start-ups
- Established UK businesses
- Major international corporations
Key sectors include Technology, Retail, Manufacturing and Banking & Finance. The team regularly advises clients on UK market entry, M&A, private equity, joint ventures and general corporate governance.
The Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing your own caseload of corporate files, including M&A, share sales, investments and reorganisations
- Delivering high-quality, commercial legal advice across a range of corporate matters
- Taking detailed client instructions and providing proactive, solutions-led support
- Working closely with partners on larger transactions and complex advisory work
- Supporting and leading on client relationship management and business development initiatives
- Taking an active role in team pitches, cross-selling opportunities and networking events
- Helping to deliver against the team’s financial and strategic objectives
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE in corporate law
- Experience in handling M&A transactions, shareholder agreements and corporate restructurings
- Comfortable with client-facing responsibility and managing matters independently
- Strong commercial awareness and a practical, solution-driven approach
- An interest in business development and growing your personal profile in the market
