A leading defense organization in the UK is seeking a Computer Vision and AI Engineer to develop innovative algorithms for complex weapon systems. This role offers a hybrid working model requiring 4-5 days on-site, and provides opportunities for international collaboration and travel. Candidates should hold a relevant degree or PhD and exhibit strong skills in image processing and deep learning technologies. A salary up to £62,000 is available based on experience, alongside a rich benefits package promoting flexibility and professional development.
As a Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Engineer within the Image Processing UK department, you will play a critical role in the development of MBDA products and technologies. You will be an important member of a department that produces world-beating algorithms. Salary: Up to £62,000 depending on experience. Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4‑5 days per week on‑site due to workload classification. Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).
