An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse within Havering Early Intervention in Psychosis Team (HEIP). We are a dynamic and welcoming multidisciplinary team who work with individuals from 14-65 experiencing a first episode psychosis. The team comprises of nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, an occupational therapist and support workers.
The successful candidate should be an occupational therapist, social worker or Registered Mental Health Nurse with unrestricted live NMC registration. You should have good written and verbal communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and demonstrate an understanding of mental health issues with experience of dealing with emotional distress. You will be able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate all aspects of care including working/liaising with multi-disciplinary teams and other agencies in the provision of care and have the ability to engage service users and relatives with empathy and compassion.
The successful candidate will have a caseload of service users they are responsible for under CPA.
