Night Care Leader

Location: Wellford Gardens, Wheatley, Oxford OX33 1ND

Pay rate: £12.44 per hour | Contracted hours: 42 hours per week

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced carer with a desire to progress your career to the next level? Do you prefer to work nights? Our care teams make a real difference every day and your professionalism, combined with kindness and compassion, will be at the core of everything you do. As Night Care Leader you will lead a small team of carers, keeping a wakeful watch on the security and safety of our residents and the home in general. You will ensure care plans are regularly reviewed, maintain accurate records, and manage your own time and that of your team effectively to support the wellbeing of our residents. While some shifts may be challenging, you will also laugh, have fun, and create lasting memories with our residents. You will work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness to all those who live and work in our homes.

Wellford Gardens is our first luxury new build incorporating all‑inclusive living in a comfortable setting, featuring en‑suite bedrooms, fresh‑air ventilation, acoustic monitoring, landscaped gardens, private dining, hair and beauty facilities, cinema, lounge and sun terrace. The three‑storey home has 65 bedrooms and offers round‑the‑clock residential and dementia care, with innovative E‑care technology and person‑centred personalised options.

ABOUT YOU

NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or NVQ Level 2 with a plan to study for Level 3. Experience in leading a team to deliver care, a desire to progress to a role with greater responsibility, and a willingness to undertake relevant training to support career development. A positive role model with excellent communication skills, natural ability to get along with others, supportive leadership, and the motivation to help your team deliver the best possible care to our residents at all times.
