An exciting opportunity has arisen within the R&D finance team to join as Management Accountant to provide comprehensive financial management support to the Research & Development Directorate. This post is an ideal opportunity to develop your accounting career in R&D Finance in a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a qualified Accountant or at final stage of ACCA/CIMA/CCAB qualification, you will be providing Management Accounting service to UCLH and UCL Researchers and internal and external stakeholders.

• Responsible for the delivery of monthly management reporting, ensuring that timely reconciliations, variance analyses & forecasting are delivered to expected timescales & standards.

• Act as the designated financial management representative at service management and operational meetings.

• Identifying opportunities for financial efficiencies and highlighting areas of risk and ensuring these are closely monitored.

• Provide and present complex financial management information and advice to internal and external stakeholders.

• Prepare and submit quarterly, annual and end of grant returns in line with contractual obligations.

• Provide costing support for Research funding applications and business cases.

• Support senior finance team with ad hoc reporting requirements.
