Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is looking for an Adult Locum Solicitor for a 6-month assignment in the East Midlands. The role involves handling various legal matters including Court of Protection proceedings and DOLs. The ideal candidate has experience in local government or relevant private practice. The position offers flexible working arrangements and all necessary IT support will be provided.
Qualifications
- Experience in local government Adult Social Care work or private practice.
- Ability to handle various legal matters in public sector law.
- Capability of working remotely with provided IT.
Responsibilities
- Manage Court of Protection proceedings.
- Handle DOLs matters and related cases.
- Work on policy documentation and defend legal challenges.

£55-65 umbrella per hour

This is an ideal role for a lawyer already experienced in local government ASC work and cases, or possibly an adult specialist from a private practice background seeking to break into Public Sector law. The role can be worked on a 4 or 5 day basis and this client allows remote working for the duration of the assignment. All necessary IT will be provided by the end client.
