Overview

Sprinkler Design Engineer - Fully Remote

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Remote (UK-wide)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

Our client is a well-established company specialising in fire suppression systems and sprinkler projects across the UK. Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking for an experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer to join their design team on a fully remote basis.

Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed sprinkler system designs in line with industry standards (BS EN12845, NFPA, LPC Rules).
  • Prepare accurate hydraulic calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure design specifications are met.
  • Provide design support throughout project delivery, from concept to completion.
  • Ensure all sprinkler designs comply with relevant fire safety regulations and company quality standards.
  • Contribute to multiple projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sprinkler Design Engineer within the fire protection industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems and sprinkler system standards.
  • Proficiency in design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Ability to complete hydraulic calculations and prepare design drawings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work remotely.
  • Knowledge of LPCB, BS EN12845, and NFPA standards is highly desirable.
