Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join a welcoming school in Dinnington from September 2025. This role is ideal for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across the DT curriculum, including product design, resistant materials, or engineering.

Role Overview:

As a DT Teacher, you will deliver practical, hands-on lessons that promote problem-solving, creativity, and design thinking in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities as a Design Technology Teacher:

• Teach Design and Technology across Key Stages.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons with clear learning objectives.
• Promote safe and effective use of tools, machinery, and materials.
• Encourage innovation and practical skills through design projects.
• Track student progress and prepare them for assessments and qualifications.

Requirements for Design Technology Teacher:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Specialism in a DT subject (Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, etc.).
• Prior experience teaching DT in a UK school is desirable.
• Strong subject knowledge and workshop safety awareness.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
