Pay rate: Up to £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are appointing SEMH Teaching Assistants to schools throughout Wakefield, providing hands‑on support to pupils who need extra guidance to manage their emotions and achieve their learning potential.
As an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Teacher) Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with individual students or small groups to implement strategies that foster resilience, confidence, and positive behaviour.
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you’ll make a meaningful difference by guiding pupils through challenges and fostering both confidence and success.
As this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
