Join a Microsoft Gold Partner on an urgent basis for the role of SQL Database Administrator. This remote position requires candidates to be based within 50 miles of Wool, Dorset. You'll take ownership of the SQL estate for a public sector client and work on exciting projects, including on-premise to Azure SQL migrations. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support smaller projects while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Handle business-as-usual (BAU) database administration tasks.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and operations for our SQL databases.
• Set up new databases, delete obsolete databases, and handle break fixes.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Apply patches and updates to ensure system security and efficiency.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Proven experience in SQL Database Administration.
• Must be SC Clearable (Candidates with dual nationalities cannot be considered for this role).

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with MySQL.
• Familiarity with SQL in Azure, as we are moving towards cloud-based solutions.

Salary:

• Up to £60,000 per annum (base)
