We are currently seeking an Investment Counselor to join our team in London to cover the African Market. You will closely collaborate with our Private Bankers to provide investment services to Citi’s ultra-high new worth clients and family offices.
The role will involve advising clients on portfolios, asset allocation, capital markets solutions, money markets, and alternatives (inl. Private Equity and Hedge Funds). Citi Private Bank has an extensive, global investment product platform, and the Investment Counselor acts as the primary conduit to it.
This role is one done in very close partnership with the coverage team, of which it is a key part, as well as our trading, product, risk & compliance partners. The objective is to deliver agreed sales goals within the overall framework of the CPB business strategy and operating model.

Investment Counsellors demonstrating the necessary aptitude and commitment can expect to become senior producers or advance into team leader roles, or laterally to banking positions.

Candidates applying for this role must be aware that it is a Certified Role, subject to the Certification Regime. The Certification Regime is one element of the Individual Accountability Regime which has come into effect on 7 March 2016.
