A leading international bank is seeking an experienced tax adviser to manage their taxation function across Europe and APAC. In this role, you will ensure compliance with tax regulations, provide strategic guidance, and lead a team of tax professionals. Ideal candidates will have a UK chartered tax adviser qualification and extensive experience in banking and financial services. To protect the CIBC group, its shareholders, officers, directors and employees as well as its clients by meeting tax regulatory and tax compliance requirements in Europe and APAC and by providing tax advice and regulatory guidance, in collaboration with the broader Taxation Group, to support the development of plans, strategies, policies, practices and procedures as appropriate or necessary, while reducing the risk, costs and penalties, both tangible and intangible, of non‑compliance with the tax laws and regulations impacting our many businesses.
