Job description

Business Unit: Blackstone Credit & Insurance (\"BXCI\"). Job Title: Managing Director / Principal. Location: London.

BXCI is seeking an experienced, motivated professional to join the Institutional Client Solutions (\"ICS\") Product Specialist team. The role will be based in London and will support the ongoing fundraising, marketing, and client relations efforts for the business. The Product Specialist team is responsible for product development and the execution of all investor communications for Blackstone's Credit & Insurance strategies. The individual will spearhead multiple projects at one time as well as help oversee various responsibilities for liquid and private credit strategies, employing a range of skillsets. This individual will also spend significant time with members of BXCI across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, including the investment, sales, portfolio management, legal & compliance, and finance & operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend client meetings where you discuss Blackstone products and client questions.
  • Market Blackstone funds to new or existing clients.
  • Supervise or train securities‑licensed employees.
  • Structure or create Blackstone funds/products.
  • Advise on marketing plans prepared by the sales team or develop and/or contribute information for marketing materials.
Other Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and implementation of business development and structuring initiatives for new funds, separately managed accounts, and co‑investments.
  • Work collaboratively with business leaders and various teams within BXCI to drive content creation and maintain presentation materials and other investor communications (e.g., webinars, video content, private placement memoranda, investor conferences).
  • Oversee responses to investor queries and due diligence questionnaires, as well as onsite and virtual due diligence sessions.
  • Analyze market research and competitive intelligence to identify trends and market opportunities, and potential product enhancements.
  • Oversee investor closing process, working collaboratively with leadership and partner teams on project management associated with legal documentation.
  • Quarterback new vehicle negotiations and ongoing LP problem‑solving in conjunction with the wider ICs and BXCI teams.
  • Produce talking points, ad‑hoc presentations, and strategic projects; participate in client pitches and investor conversations.
  • Become an expert on our credit investment products, including their investment objectives and performance characteristics.
  • Serve as a player‑coach to analysts and associates and contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications
  • 9+ years of prior experience in investment banking, investment consulting, investor relations, preferably with a credit background.
  • Highly motivated self‑starter, intelligent, and demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
  • Team‑oriented, thrives on challenge in a dynamic environment, strong work ethic, and ability to multi‑task and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker who can produce creative, compelling, detailed marketing materials, with the ability to interpret and present complex investment concepts in a simplistic manner.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; excellent attention to detail and interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, and ability to effectively communicate results.
  • Leadership skills and strong project management capabilities.
  • Desire to contribute to a positive culture and operate with integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosity.
  • European language skills are beneficial.
