A leading food manufacturing business in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quality Systems Technologist to enhance food safety and compliance within their technical function. The role involves maintaining and improving quality management systems, coordinating audits, and managing data. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of BRCGS standards, strong organizational skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. This role offers ownership and visibility across various teams.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of BRCGS standards and retailer requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident in managing data and digital tools.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the site's QMS and document control processes.
- Coordinate internal audits and drive timely closure of actions.
- Ensure accurate and compliant operational data capture across the site.
- Monitor supplier approval status and keep specifications up to date.
- Support complaint trend reduction through effective action management.
Skills
