Job description
What will you be doing?
- Preparing and presenting monthly capital reporting on additions and depreciation to support financial transparency and decision-making.
- Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register to ensure accuracy and completeness across all asset categories, locations, and projects.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure precise reporting of assets, and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Performing key reconciliations monthly, ensuring timely and accurate financial data for reporting and audits.
- Developing depreciation forecasts in line with group budgets, supporting strategic planning and financial forecasting.
- Producing bi-annual capital reports at a statutory entity level for the group, complying with relevant accounting standards.
- Managing audit requirements, coordinating with auditors, and resolving queries efficiently during bi-annual audits.
- Supporting various ad-hoc reporting needs related to fixed assets, repairs, maintenance spend, and capital allocations as required.

- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA); strong part-qualified candidates may also be considered.
- Experience working in a similar role in industry or within an accounting practice with a focus on fixed asset management.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial managers, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, capable of prioritising and managing a broad range of activities.
- Exceptional analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V‑Lookups, Sum Ifs).
- Core expertise in financial accounting, reconciliations, problem resolution, and detailed data analysis.
- Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure comprehensive and compliant financial reporting across multiple stakeholders.
