A local authority firm in the Midlands is seeking an experienced Locum Housing Litigation Paralegal for a full-time role. The position offers predominantly remote working with a weekly office attendance preference and pays up to £30 per hour. The ideal candidate must be confident in handling Housing Litigation matters and have experience presenting in court. This role is initially for 3 months with potential for extension.
Qualifications
- Experience in handling Housing Litigation matters confidently.
- Previous experience presenting in Court.
- Background in Public Sector or Private Practice.
Responsabilités
- Undertake legal work related to Housing Litigation, focusing on ASB and Injunctions.
- Liaise with legal representatives and guide other staff.
- Prepare and manage a varied caseload for court.

Locum Housing Litigation Paralegal – Predominantly Remote Working – Full Time – Up to £30 per hour (Umbrella) – Midlands
Position: Locum Housing Litigation Paralegal
Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority
Duration: 3 months initial contract with the likelihood of further extension
Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: Mainly remote working, once a week office attendance is preferred
Hourly Rate: Up to £30 per hour Umbrella
This position requires a candidate who is confident in handling Housing Litigation matters and previous experience presenting in Court with either Public Sector or Private Practice backgrounds.
- Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Housing Litigation with a main focus on ASB, Housing Management, Injunctions and Possessions
- Liaise and work collaboratively with other legal representatives as well as providing guidance to other staff
- To prepare and manage a varied caseload in relation to Housing Management and support case preparation for court
