Job Location: Ferndown, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm with an earlier finish on a Friday

A leading manufacturing company who are growing year on year are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Assistant to support the Supply Chain team with Purchasing & Planning.

• Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Buyer and Planner to provide administrative support
• Creating, updating and tracking of works orders
• Support the procurement team with placing purchase orders
• Maintaining accurate records for supplier information, order confirmations and deliveries
• Maintain and assist with document control

• 1–2 years experience in supply chain, logistics or manufacturing
• Basic understanding of supply chain, planning and procurement practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• High attention to detail

• Have 1–2 years experience in supply chain, procurement or planning
• Basic understanding of supply chain, planning and procurement practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Have excellent attention to detail, be highly organised and have a can do attitude
• Self-motivated and results driven
