A leading children's care provider is seeking an experienced Home Manager at Southlands School. This role involves managing a dedicated team and designing care plans for children with diverse needs, particularly those affected by Autism. The successful candidate must have experience in leading a team, safeguarding, and knowledge of childcare legislation. A commitment to children's welfare and professional growth is essential. Location: Southlands School, Lymington
Hours: 40 per week - 52 weeks per annum
Salary: £36,296 per annum

Reporting to the Registered Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience in working with children who may, on occasion, present with behaviours that challenge, and have the ability to design, implement and monitor the care and education plans for the young people we support.
You will lead a confident and experienced care team, working closely with our education and clinical colleagues to improve outcomes for our children, helping each other to flourish along the way. You will work to support the children in rebuilding their resilience and creating a safe and bright future for the next stage of their journey.
Southlands School is an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ specialist day with an Ofsted registered Children’s Home. Join us to make a difference every day. We provide education and care, supported by our multi-disciplinary clinical team, for children and young people aged 7‑16 who have a primary diagnosis of Autism or whose profile of need can be successfully supported by autism specialist strategies. The successful candidate will inspire and lead a team to provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to flourish and achieve positive outcomes with the perfect balance of leadership, innovation and professionalism.
