Technical Manager (with AI Expertise) – 12 Month FTC – Up to £75K – Hybrid Belfast

We’re seeking a Technical Manager with AI expertise to join a leading technology organisation in Belfast. This role will oversee the delivery of technical projects, ensuring robust governance, scalable solutions, and the integration of AI where it adds business value. You’ll play a key role in shaping the firm’s technology roadmap while leading a skilled team.

• Lead the planning, delivery, and management of technical projects across multiple business functions.
• Apply AI-driven solutions to enhance automation, efficiency, and decision-making.
• Oversee technology governance frameworks to ensure compliance, security, and scalability.
• Manage vendor relationships, evaluate new tools/platforms, and guide technology upgrades.
• Translate complex technical and AI concepts into practical solutions for stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing technical team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

• Proven leadership experience in technical management, including people and project management.
• Exposure to AI/automation tools and platforms (e.g. Copilot Studio, Power Platform, RPA tools).
• Strong vendor, stakeholder, and cross-functional management skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical oversight with strategic leadership.
• Organised, adaptable, and passionate about leveraging technology for business impact.
