A UK-based educational institution is seeking a full-time Study Skills Lecturer to develop and teach essential study skills across various higher education programs. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree and experience in higher education lecturing, supporting adult learners with diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities include course design, delivering teaching, and providing personalized feedback to students to enhance their academic skills. This position is located on-site in Manchester and offers competitive benefits including annual leave, a pension scheme, and training reimbursement.
Department: Academic/Bath Spa University (BSU), University of Suffolk (UoS), Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU), Oxford Brooks University (OBU) and/or Pearson partnerships
Location: Manchester (On-Site)
Salary: £51,000
Type of Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

We are currently seeking full-time Study Skills Lecturers who will work in close collaboration with subject lecturers to develop and teach study skills within the curriculum across a range of HE programmes from Foundation to Masters' Level as part of our BSU, UoS and OBU partnerships. This includes for example, improving English language and numeracy, organisational and presentation skills, digital literacy and basic IT skills, reading, writing and higher order research skills. Due to our delivery model, we require flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and at weekends.
