Senior Backend Engineer
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite)
Salary: up to £65,000
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global leader in the innovation and development of cutting-edge software solutions used across the oil and gas industry. We’re looking for a technically strong Senior Backend Engineer to join a highly skilled team working across a modern, tech-agnostic environment. Whether your background is in C#, PHP, or Node.js, what matters most is your ability to design and deliver robust, scalable backend systems. The current stack includes PHP, so experience with it would be beneficial, but this role offers the flexibility to work with a range of technologies. You’ll be responsible for architecting databases, developing and maintaining REST APIs, and ensuring seamless data flow across applications. Experience with GraphQL would be a bonus.
