You will take total technical ownership of a greenfield, bespoke Practice Management System (PMS) for a high-end Harley Street medical practice. This is a ground-up build requiring a Lead Engineer who can operate with zero project management oversight, working directly alongside a design-led consultant to translate wireframes into a secure, production-ready clinical asset.
End-to-End Architecture: Define and build the technical roadmap for a system comprising three distinct interfaces: a Patient Portal, a Secretary Dashboard, and a Clinical Overview for surgeons.
Revenue Cycle Management (RCM): Engineer a robust, multi-party billing module to handle complex invoicing logic between patients and private insurers.
Security & Compliance: Implement elite-level data protection and infrastructure for clinical data handling to meet Harley Street's secure standards.
Autonomous Delivery: Move from design concepts to full deployment as the sole developer on the project.
Frontend: Next.js, React, TypeScript.
Backend: Node.js.
Database: PostgreSQL.
Infrastructure: Cloud-native (AWS preferred) with a focus on high availability and security.
Solo Greenfield Track Record: You must have a proven history of delivering complex, solo greenfield projects from inception to launch.
Architectural Authority: You are comfortable making high-level technical decisions and defending them to stakeholders.
Complex Logic Experience: Ideally, you have experience building financial workflows, payment-dependent systems, or healthcare-specific diagnostic tools.
High Standards: You maintain elite coding standards, including deep test coverage (90%+) and clean, maintainable architecture.
