An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a committed and forward-thinking department. We are looking for a skilled educator who can foster a love of literature and language, and support students in developing their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as an English Teacher:

• Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is welcome but not essential)

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that support progress for all learners

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and intervention

• Contribute to the development of curriculum resources and enrichment activities

Ideal English Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A degree in English or a related subject

• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and current educational practices

• A passion for literature, language, and effective communication

• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as English Teacher.
