Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group support in History or Geography.
- Run retrieval practice, exam‑technique workshops, and literacy/extended-writing boosters.
- Help pupils interpret sources, evaluate evidence, master case studies and map/fieldwork skills.
- Track progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Skills
Education
Humanities Academic Coach. Immediate start until July 2026. £80 - £100 per day. School location: Ward of Yardley. Support in History or Geography for KS3/KS4.
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group support in History or Geography.

- Degree – 2:2 or above in humanities or a related subject (e.g., History, Geography, Politics or similar).
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain.
- Genuine interest in supporting student progress and a desire to work in education.
- Experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
