Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is looking for a Group Technical Auditor to ensure compliance and high-quality standards across multiple UK manufacturing sites. The successful candidate will lead audits, work closely with suppliers, and drive continuous improvement. A lead auditor qualification and extensive experience in food manufacturing are essential. This role offers a salary range of £40,000 - £50,000, alongside the opportunity to influence at all levels in the organization.
Qualifications
- Lead Auditor qualification is essential.
- Extensive auditing experience within food manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of BRC and HACCP.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple sites.
- Experience with UK retailers and their standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead internal and external audits across all UK manufacturing sites.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance and alignment.
- Ensure all sites maintain consistent standards and compliance.
- Support sites with customer and external visits.
- Manage and develop the internal audit system.
- Collaborate with the Group Technical Function on key projects.
Skills
As the Group Technical Auditor, you will play a central role in ensuring that all manufacturing sites maintain consistent, best-in-class technical and quality standards. This is a highly visible, influential position working across UK sites and directly with suppliers to uphold compliance and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead internal and external audits across all UK manufacturing sites.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance and alignment with group expectations.
- Ensure all sites are fully centralised with consistent standards and compliant with UK legislation and retailer requirements.
- Support sites with customer and external visits, ensuring smooth audit processes.
- Manage and develop the internal audit system, driving efficiency and best practice.
- Collaborate with the Group Technical Function, providing technical insight and supporting key projects and initiatives.
- Lead Auditor qualification – essential.
- Extensive auditing experience within food manufacturing.
- A strong working knowledge of BRC and HACCP.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple sites.
- Experience working directly with UK retailers, understanding their standards and expectations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
