Job summary
A leading educational provider in Gillingham is seeking a dynamic Head of PE to lead a passionate team in promoting health and fitness. The role involves managing the PE department, developing engaging curricula, and organizing extracurricular activities to foster student participation. The ideal candidate will have QTS or equivalent, strong leadership skills, and a passion for health and wellbeing. This is a full-time, long-term position with a salary range of £120 - £250 per day based on experience.
Qualifications
- TEFL or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching PE and leading a department.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the PE department for high standards.
- Develop and deliver engaging PE curriculum.
- Organise extracurricular sports activities and events.
