Job Overview:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Camera Motion Systems (CMS) is responsible for accelerating customer awareness, pipeline growth, and partner engagement across the EMEA region. This role focuses on executing regional sales strategy, supporting complex presales activities, and building strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams. This is an individual contributor role with clear ownership of territory performance and a strong emphasis on execution, collaboration, and customer experience.

What the job is all about:
Customer & Partner Engagement
  • Lead customer discovery, presentations, and technical positioning for CMS solutions
  • Support partners and sales teams with product knowledge, competitive context, and deal strategy
  • Build trust with end users, consultants, and systems integrators
  • Participate in customer demos, onsite visits, and trade shows
Presales Coordination & Delivery Readiness
  • Support presales scoping and ensure solutions align with real-world workflows
  • Set clear expectations with customers and partners prior to project handoff
  • Ensure required documentation is completed accurately before release to Project Management
  • Coordinate with Services and Product teams to support successful installations
Market & Product Feedback
  • Gather structured customer and partner feedback from the field
  • >Share insights with Product Management to inform roadmap, positioning, and enablement
  • Support adoption of CMS platforms.
Support Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
  • Support both direct and indirect sales motions in alignment with regional strategy
  • Identify new opportunities through customer engagement, demos, and partner activity [MC2]
  • Drive CMS bookings and support pipeline growth across the assigned EMEA territory
Collaboration & Team Engagement
  • Actively participate in BDM, Sales, and CMS team meetings
  • Collaborate with Marketing on regional content needs and customer references
  • Follow through on internal commitments with consistency and accountability
Who you are:
  • 5+ years in business development, technical sales, or broadcast technology
  • Experience supporting complex, solution-based sales cycles
  • Familiarity with broadcast workflows, studio environments, or automation systems
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Clear, professional communication with customers and internal teams
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA
  • Experience with robotics, camera systems, or studio automation
  • Background working with systems integrators or channel partners
  • Comfort presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong collaboration with Sales, Services, Marketing, and Product teams
  • Reliable forecasting support and clear internal communication
  • Positive customer experiences through accurate presales and delivery alignment
  • Consistent execution against regional sales and pipeline targets
