Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a care setting.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Ability to plan and prepare meals to a high standard.
  • Confident in leading the kitchen when required.

Care Home Chef / Second Chef – Augusta Court, Chichester

At Augusta Court in the heart of Chichester, we’re looking for an experienced and creative Chef to support our Chef Manager and help deliver fresh, nutritious meals for our 46 residents. If you’re passionate about great food and want a role with real purpose and balance, this could be your next step.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare high-quality, home-cooked meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients
  • Help design and develop our menus
  • Cater for a range of dietary needs and allergens
  • Support the Chef Manager and lead the kitchen in their absence
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene, safetyhouette and kitchen standards
  • Assist with stock control, orderingMetadata, and organisation

About You
