Job Description
The Job Mission

This is a hybrid role based in Bristol, requiring regular office attendance with flexible home working.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist IMS and CAD support to nuclear engineering teams.
  • Ensure digital tools, automation and user support enable efficient engineering delivery.
  • Provide expert support across AVEVA E3D, DRAW, PDMS, DRAFT and Diagrams.
  • Coordinate CAD support activities, requests and technical issue resolution.
  • Manage CAD file structures, scripts and configuration activities.
  • Develop macros and automation tools to support engineering workflows.
  • Act as key interface between UK engineering teams and French CAD teams.
  • Define, track and deliver CAD improvement action plans and roadmaps.
  • Provide local IMS and CAD technical support to engineering users.
  • Deliver training and guidance to end‑users when required.
Qualifications
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum five years’ experience using AVEVA CAD software.
  • Strong scripting experience using PowerShell, Python or PML.
  • Experience supporting CAD tools in engineering environments.
  • Strong problem‑solving and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience working with Windows and IT technologies
Desirable Skills
  • Experience supporting nuclear engineering projects.
  • Prior IMS or CAD support service experience.
  • Experience working in regulated environments.
  • French language capability.
  • Experience developing automation for engineering teams.
