A leading water services provider is seeking a Capital Accounting Assistant to join their Capex Finance Performance team in Westminster. As a Capital Accounting Assistant within the Capex Finance Performance team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of financial performance insight, reporting, and analysis across Anglian Water's multi-billion capital programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong financial acumen, and a proactive approach to thrive in a complex operational and regulatory environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of capex finance data and reporting, as well as upholding robust financial controls and governance. You will join a collaborative team of Capital Accounting Assistants, supporting both the finance team and the wider business in financial reporting, month-end processing, budgeting, forecasting, and cost and performance analysis. The role champions standardisation, automation, efficiency, and compliance, with a strong focus on innovation and technology to maximise opportunities. You will also be instrumental in supporting the asset commissioning process and driving continuous improvement in health and safety standards.
