As an Activity Instructor with Rockley, you will work closely with a great team to provide high-quality instruction in a variety of activities.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Provide a high standard of instruction to all students within the group.
- Instruct a variety of activities under the supervision of the Senior Team.
- Deliver some evening entertainment activities as directed by the Senior Team.
- Maintain standards of tuition and ensure group safety and welfare during activities.
- Be a positive role model, demonstrating the attitudes, values, and behaviors expected of students.
- Promote self-control and independence among learners with high expectations of behavior.
- Deliver activities in line with the Company’s standard operating procedures and local policies.
- Comply with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people, raising concerns as per protocols.
- Ensure clients and staff follow safety procedures and policies.
- Implement feedback from monitoring and evaluation.
- Carry out equipment checks as directed.
- Maintain equipment inventory and ensure compliance with regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance or dispatch faulty equipment for repairs.
- Assist with general centre duties such as kitchen tasks and cleaning facilities.
Experience, Skills & Abilities
- Experience working in a team environment preferred.
- Experience working with young people preferred.
- Experience in an activity centre environment is advantageous.

Qualifications
Essential
- Current First Aid Certificate.
Hold One Of The Following Qualifications
- ERCA High Ropes Instructor
- BC Paddlesport Instructor Award
Desirable
- ERCA Generic Rescuer
- BC Sheltered Water Coach
- Archery GB Instructor Award
- NSRA YPS Tutor
- Full UK Driving License
