Cleaning Operative - Edinburgh
  • 6 hours per week
  • 2 days (Tuesday & Friday), but can be flexible for right candidate (Must be 2 separate days i.e. Tuesday & Thursday) 16 : 00 Onwards (up to 22 : 00 hours)
  • 12.60 per hour
  • Car parking

Job Introduction : We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at Scottish Fire & Rescue, 49 North Fort Street, Edinburgh, EH6 4HJ. As a Cleaning Operative with Sodexo, you will play a key role in ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times. This is an essential role that requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

What you'll do :
  • Carry out cleaning duties across the designated area, including offices, corridors, washrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces.
  • Ensure cleaning standards are maintained and meet client expectations.
  • Follow the cleaning schedule to ensure all areas are attended to promptly.
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.
  • Maintain health and safety standards in line with company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
