A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Section Engineer to work in the East Midlands. This role involves managing personnel on highways projects and requires a construction-related degree, valid CSCS, and SMSTS certifications. The ideal candidate has previous experience with major contractors and strong management skills.

- Experience as a Senior Site Engineer, Section Engineer, or Sub Agent.

- Assist the Site Agent with all duties including reporting.
- Manage and task Site Engineer personnel.
- Liaise consistently with client and stakeholders.

Section Engineer – Highways
Location: East Midlands. Salary: £300-350 pd. Our client is looking for an experienced Section Engineer to work in the Cambridgeshire / Essex area. You will be experienced with working on Major Infrastructure and Highways schemes, ideally with a Major Highways Contractor.
- Assisting the Site Agent with all duties including reporting
- Managing and tasking Site Engineer personnel
- Managing the sub contracts and H&S of various packages of work
- Managing and mentoring both direct and contract project staff
- Liaising consistently with client and stakeholders
- Attend all progress meetings
- Previous work with a major contractor on highways project
- Previously worked as a Senior Site Engineer, Section Engineer or Sub Agent
- Hold a construction related degree or HNC
- Have a valid CSCS and SMSTS certification
