Are you ready to take the next step in your data and analytics career? We're offering a fixed-term opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as a BI Developer at Trust Alliance Group.

As a BI Developer, you will play a vital role in enhancing our business intelligence capabilities by developing and maintaining data solutions that support informed decision-making across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has a passion for turning data into actionable insights, and thrives on delivering high-quality reporting and analysis.

Trust Alliance Group was formed in 2022 and comprises several businesses that were previously part of Ombudsman Services. To deliver on our purpose of building and maintaining trust between consumers and businesses, we’re developing diverse capabilities and expertise in digital dispute resolution and case management technology.

• Championing the use of data across the group and promoting data-first thinking from the inception of all projects
• Establishing Data Experts within engaged departments
• Acting as a trusted consultant to stakeholders and external partners, including regulators and government bodies
• Developing actionable dashboards and reports using internal and third-party data
• Reporting on data quality and process consistency via Fabric Lakehouse, creating control and exception dashboards
• Supporting the evolution of our federated data model, balancing autonomy and standards
• Collaborating to identify opportunities for process and decision-making improvements
• Contributing to project delivery with documentation and best practices sharing
• Mentoring colleagues and supporting a high-performing Data Team
• Researching emerging BI platforms and technologies, working towards certifications for a Data Centre of Excellence
• Seeking new ways to add value through data, with a commercial and excellence-driven mindset

• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI Stack
• Ability to interpret, transform, and visualise data clearly
• Understanding of data modelling concepts for scalable structures
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and compliance principles
• Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charts
• Familiarity with data access approaches at row and column levels
• Ability to analyze challenges and communicate solutions effectively
• Proficiency in Power BI, with a desire to expand platform use
• Confidence in SQL and familiarity with Microsoft Fabric
