A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Team Leader for the Paediatric Physiotherapist Team in Birmingham. You will oversee staff management, deliver clinical assessments, and develop care programs for children with neurological and developmental conditions. This is a community post across the large city of Birmingham for a new Team Leader for the Paediatric Physiotherapist Team. The post involves a mix of staff management responsibilities and clinical work, delivering clinic, schools and community-based assessments and interventions for children and young people with neurological and developmental conditions. The post holder will deputise for the Service Clinical Manager when required and provide day-to-day operational management and coordination of a designated team.

The successful candidate will have proven paediatric experience, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be motivated to help grow and develop the physiotherapy service. The role requires experience in paediatrics and a flexible approach to work across mainstream, special schools, health centres and community settings. Access to reliable transport is essential.
The post is in the Children’s community Physiotherapy Department, working within Inclusion Services in the Children and Families Division across the city, with a range of settings including mainstream and special schools, health centres and community settings.
