This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and proactive individual to play a key role in the smooth running of the college estate.

Role: Site Supervisor

Location: Northampton

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of college buildings, facilities, and outdoor areas
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, risk assessments, and fire safety procedures
• Manage site security, including opening/locking of premises and site access for staff and visitors
• Respond promptly to any emergency repairs or maintenance issues
• Support the preparation of classrooms, workshops, and specialist areas such as horticulture spaces
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers
• Monitor site budgets and resources as directed

• Previous experience in a facilities, caretaker, or site supervisor role (ideally in an educational setting)
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, health & safety, and compliance requirements
• Ability to carry out minor repairs, DIY tasks, and site improvements
• Good leadership and communication skills
• A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if required
