Overview

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team, working on CP7 frameworks across the Wessex region. The role will be based out of Basingstoke, covering projects along the Reading to Portsmouth corridor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in rail civils delivery, looking to work on long-term, high-profile projects within Network Rail infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations including site set-ups and workforce supervision.
  • Organise and coordinate sub-contractors and suppliers for smooth project execution.
  • Deliver works packages in line with the project plan, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct team briefings and debriefings, ensuring clear communication of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Monitor and adapt plans on-site to respond to changing circumstances or risks.
  • Ensure correct use and placement of plant and machinery for optimal productivity.
  • Support Construction Manager and Project Manager by identifying contract variations.
  • Uphold health, safety, quality, and environmental standards, ensuring all team members are fully briefed.
Requirements
Essential Experience & Skills
  • 3-5 years' supervision experience in Rail or Civil Engineering projects.
  • Strong background delivering multiple concurrent rail civils projects.
  • Good understanding of CDM 2015, Network Rail standards, and rail safety regulations.
  • Proven planning, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable working with the Network Rail suite of contracts and NEC3/4.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and challenge designs constructively.
  • Strong commitment to health & safety in high-risk environments.
  • PTS (Personal Track Safety) - essential
  • SMSTS or SSSTS - essential
Desirable
  • Experience assisting with tenders or early contractor involvement (ECI) stages.
  • COSS (Controller of Site Safety)
