Responsibilities

  • Supervising work that has been set.
  • Managing the behaviour of pupils.
  • Responding to questions from pupils.
  • Assisting pupils to undertake activities set.
  • Collecting completed work after lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher.
  • Reporting back as appropriate using the agreed procedures within the school.

Overview

Strategy Education work closely with a selection of Secondary Schools across Haringey and surrounding North London Boroughs who need cover supervisors to cover daily and short term contracts.

If you are a graduate, have had previous classroom experience, or worked as a HLTA/TA and want to work in a secondary school environment, this you could be the perfect role for you!

Do you want to progress and gain experience working in Secondary Schools across London?

Daily Supply offers flexibility to work when you want to work - so it's perfect if you don't want full time commitments, or if you want to work in a variety of schools each week.

Specific qualifications are not essential but you will require excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to effectively manage students in the classroom.

Candidates must:

  • Have a passion for educating children
  • Understand the need for flexibility and adaptability
  • Have excellent classroom management skills
  • Interested and enjoy being in a school environment
