Overview

Midday Supervisor – Newham. Long-term contract. 2 hours per day (11:30am – 1:30pm).

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and committed Midday Supervisor to join a happy and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Newham. This is a wonderful opportunity to support pupils during lunchtime and play a key role in their daily school experience. You will need to have excellent behaviour management skills, as you will also be supervising pupils in the playground and supporting their social interaction.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise pupils during lunchtime and in the playground to ensure safe and positive behaviour.
  • Support pupils in social interaction and assist with playtime activities as required.
  • Contribute to maintaining a calm and orderly lunchtime environment.
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures in all interactions with pupils.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and strong spoken/written English.
  • Demonstrates high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Quick learner, open to training and guidance.
  • Ideally, previous experience working with children and a sound knowledge of safeguarding.
