Overview

Maintenance Team Leader – Trafford. Permanent, Full Time position. £55,000 to £60,000 + 10% Bonus + Pension + Life Assurance + Holidays.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a market leading manufacturing company seeking to bring an experienced Maintenance Team Leader on board. Supplying to countries around the world, the opportunity to work for this Company offers great security and stability. This role will involve the co-ordination of all preventative, reactive & breakdown maintenance on a daily basis, with the goal to improve efficiency across the plant.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for planned TPM maintenance to optimize plant availability/reduce downtime on all machinery across site
  • Evaluate all process improvements and carry out corrective maintenance plans
  • Ensure performance targets are met for maintenance
  • Compliance and implementation of ISO system requirements
  • To manage the Engineering functions, systems and processes ensuring that all business objectives are met, utilizing LEAN and CI methodologies. Drive continuous improvement
  • Monitor engineering developments and embrace new technology to automate production process
  • To plan and direct installation of new machines, equipment, and process technology
Skills and Qualifications
  • HNC/ONC in Electrical Engineering with maintenance experience
  • Proven Continuous Improvement experience (5S, Kaizen, 8D etc.)
  • Must have managed a team of engineers within manufacturing
  • Experience working with Automation/Robotic machinery
  • A positive "can do" attitude and drive to succeed, with the ability to motivate employees
  • Ability to manage a TPM program effectively
