Attention all Electrical Design Engineers!
Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are recruiting for a highly skilled electrical design engineer for a contract position with a leading international consultancy. The role will entail working on Government framework projects across education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Justice and some aviation aspects.
Our client is a well–respected design, engineering and project management consultancy, whom offer services in a variety of sectors such as energy, defence, industrial, transportation and education.
Key responsibilities:
–You will be responsible for reporting to the design lead, whilst also providing support and guidance throughout the process to others.
– Prepare electrical diagrams and detailed technical documentation.
– Liaise closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
– Participate in site visits and attend client meetings to offer expert advice and ensure the successful implementation of electrical designs.
– Review and approve contractor electrical designs, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.
–You will also be responsible for dealing with a mix of report writing and design.
Key requirements:
– Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
–Eligible for security clearance/or the ability to obtain (British passport holder and UK resident for 5+ years).
– Relevant certifications or professional memberships such as Chartered Engineer status are an advantage.
–Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, or equivalent tools).
