  • Participating in the on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks).

Overview

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Canary Wharf, London

Salary: £46,000 - £48,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday (Split Shifts: 7am-4pm / 9am-6pm)

Call Out ROTA: 1 in 4 weeks (£75/week standby)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our small, dedicated engineering team within a prestigious corporate office building in Canary Wharf. You will be the fourth member of a close-knit team, working collaboratively to ensure the smooth operation of all electrical systems and supporting the wider facilities team with planned and reactive maintenance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who thrives in a professional environment and enjoys the responsibility and autonomy that comes with working in a smaller, agile team.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the building
  • Supporting building shutdowns and planned works outside of standard hours
  • Participating in the on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks)
  • Assisting with quoted works and minor project installations
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health & safety and electrical regulations
What We\'re Looking For
  • Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, 18th Edition)
  • Proven experience in a commercial or corporate building environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to be flexible with out-of-hours work for planned maintenance
